Anna von Herrmann has a decade of experience in immigration law.

Anna is an attorney licensed by the State Bar of California. She has practiced immigration law since 2014 and has extensive experience in immigration appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals, 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, and United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Anna earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis School of Law. As a student, she worked with the UC Davis Immigration Law Clinic, with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Immigrants’ Rights Project, and as a judicial extern for the Chief Justice of the California Supreme Court. She graduated in 2014 in the top 5% of her class and as a member of the Order of the Coif.

From 2014 to 2016, Anna worked as an Attorney Advisor at the San Francisco Immigration Court, where she conducted legal research and writing for Immigration Judges. From 2016 to 2018, she worked as an Associate Attorney at Bean & Lloyd, LLP (now Bean, Lloyd, Mukherji, & Taylor, LLP), an immigration law firm, where she directly represented clients in family-based and removal defense cases.

In 2018, Anna opened the Law Office of Anna von Herrmann. She has advocated for immigrants in dozens of cases before the BIA, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, and USCIS.

Anna is a member in good standing of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
